Snow White - With A Twist!
In December Andy's first foray into the land of PANTO was made. Written in one weekend, this 60 minute romp was designed to be performed by, and appeal to, students aged 16-19.
The panto met with great success, and despite a last minute re-write reducing the number of dames from two to one, the panto was performed over two nights.
It was not quite the traditional panto everyone expected (everyone except those who've ever appeared in one of Andy's plays!)
It featured seven female dwarves on a heist escaping from the royal guards, an addicted Snow White, her admirer Woody, a wicked Queen, a mirror with attitude, two dopey hench men,the vicious Big Bad Wolf, the brave Red Hood - Wolf Huntress (Buffy eat your heart out!), a traditional dame and Charmeo the prince who is a "serial groom"!
Oh, and we mustn't forget Dobbin the panto horse!
